Home for Christmas - on Christmas eve, a dozen home area pictures to identify, and a nod of respect to Chris Rea who passed away in the last few days, and who had to drive home for Christmas, as he told in interview, because he didn't have the rail fare. His girlfriend / wife (and certainly life partner) took a mini all the way down from Teeside to London to pick him up and they battled through foul weather with many others to get home.  The story shows both a failure of public transport to look after people who need it but for whom it's out of reach, and at the same time shines of love. RIP, Chris Rea.

Back to standard guides everyone please - just one each to give everyone a chance.  So many of us, for all its problems, know and love our home territory as we travel around.  And, please on Christmas Eve, forgive me if you have seen some of these pictures before.

Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year too, and thank you for all your inputs, caring ear and voice of wisdom. Sorry to say, though, that No. 7 - perhaps the most obscure in the quiz - is not Bradford-on-Avon

1. Oldfield Park

I recognised 1. immediately: "It's that small station near Bath Spa"!  But then I simply couldn't remember the actual name of it, so I could post an answer here.

Sorry, Timmer - I know it's your local station.
