If you are in the Goring area tomorrow afternoon, as part of the local history society's event at the Goring Village Hall marking the centenary of the 1918 armistice, there will be a talk at 3-15 pm by local amateur historian Mike Hurst entitled "Tracks to the Trenches" on the role of railways in the First World War.

He usually gives a good talk - all welcome!
